We will transfer to the accommodation and take the opportunity to go on a guided tour of one of the most famous wineries in La Rioja.
Day 3 | Nájera - Burgos
Day 3. Nájera - Burgos. We will begin our journey in Nájera, in the Rioja Alta region, with a quiet 15 km route that will allow us to see the change from the mountainous and wine-growing landscape to the plateau and cereal fields typical of the Basque region. We will make a stop along the Way in the town of Santo Domingo de la Calzada, to enjoy a magnificent meal and learn first-hand about one of the most interesting legends of the Way of St. James. We will transfer to Burgos where we will have our accommodation and enjoy a private tour of the main attractions of the city.

We will leave León to go to one of the most important points of the Camino, the Cruz de Ferro, where we will fulfil the rite of leaving a stone, testimony of our pilgrimage and we will descend, through the mountains of León, towards El Acebo.
